I arrived on Roatan with my family 21 years ago.  To say it has been an amazing experience would be an understatement.  When I moved to Roatan in December of 1999 the infrastructure was so far behind the modern world, doing business was an impossible adventure on a daily basis.  But Hard work and perseverance always pays off, and every day was a new adventure of helping people and learning a little more about the land, the laws, and the way things worked and tasks got done on this small island I now called home.

I soon realized it takes a determined person to get thru the daily red tape on their own, without becoming overwhelmed with frustration and eventually giving up.  That simply having a friend, or someone with knowledge to guide and help you, was just the missing step needed to make the journey of “Roatan” without mistakes and stress, so that you could enjoy the ride.

And so, About Roatan Real Estate was born! In 2004 I formed the Brokerage to add to the Roatan Real estate market a company offering Customer Service and integrity that did not exist prior.  A team of professionals with true integrity that are honest and knowledgeable in the profession of Real Estate and the laws, to handle anything that may come up, as you purchase real estate, move to the island and get settled and begin your new life.  A team that works for YOU.

After 21 years Roatan is still my Paradise and that of my children, and many of my friends, who began their Roatan journey as my clients!

Paradise is different for each individual and all in the eye of the beholder, but for me and mine, we have no regrets!!!!

Throughout the years, our family was blessed to be able to travel extensively - and our dream of eventually relocating to the Caribbean drove us to explore many tropical locations. The unique character, pristine vistas and heartwarming people of Roatan drew us back time and again. We are thrilled to call this island gem "home". After owning an Italian restaurant for 30 years, my husband and I decided to take that leap of faith to fulfill our lifelong dream of island living. We jumped in with both feet, and I can honestly say that the leap is not nearly as difficult or scary with a network of friends, resources, information and guidance to get you started. In addition to being a successful business owner, I also worked for one of the largest, and most prestigious real estate companies in the United States. I have also built 2 homes here on Roatan, making me very familiar with the design/build and land development processes here on the island.
