Where is Flowers Bay?
Flowers Bay is on the western side and the south shore of the island of Roatan, the largest of the three islands of the Bay Islands of Honduras in the Caribbean, about 40 miles north of the mainland. It is just to the west of Coxen Hole, the primary city on the island.

Where can I stay?
Ocean View Hotel and Restaurant is just east of Flowers Bay in Gravel Bay. There are numerous homes available for rent, and the tourist communities of West Bay and West End are just three miles away, with numerous accommodation options.

Things to do?
In Flowers Bay is the Jurassic Giants tourist attraction, which puts kids in the midst of animatronic dinosaurs and explains the tropical world they lived in. On the road to West Bay is the Roatan Rum Company, which offers free samples of a variety of rums and rum cakes. West Bay boasts one of the most popular beaches in the Caribbean and numerous shops.

Where do I eat?
Ocean View Hotel and Restaurant offers fajitas, burgers and seafood. Just three miles away is West End, the home of the largest number of restaurants on the island.

How do I get around?
Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport is located just on the other side of downtown Coxen Hole from Flowers Bay. Taxis are plentiful and cheap. Just raise your hand and one will stop for you. If you choose to rent a car, the main roads are well-maintained, but be careful when you get off the main roads, as there are often potholes and numerous dead-end streets.
