Destination Wedding Dreams Come True in Romantic Roatan

We attended an island wedding recently at Calabash Bight Resort, on the island’s charming east end. The turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea and a long, white beach provided the backdrop for the ceremony. The bride and groom were surrounded by lush, tropical flowers as they recited their vows.

Guests were invited to join in a champagne toast to the happy couple. The wedding feast, hosted by manager, Martina Spilker, included a roasted pig. Paella, and many other decadent dishes.

The family of the bride was free to sit back and enjoy their special day, as Martina took care of all the details. The resort provides a scenic yet private venue for small to medium size groups.

Seven cabins are available to accommodate guests. Friendly staff will cater to your every need and Martina’s cooking will spoil you. There are plenty of island activities available to make your vacation memorable.
